Abstract :
A large amount of point cloud data requires computational load for identifying the object shapes. This study proposes a method to simplify 3-dimensional cloud data by using elastic band algorithm but to maintain geometric information. We present analytical geometric shapes model via Bezier curve. As an application of the reconstructed point cloud information, we show how to find suitable grasping points approximately.
