  • Abstract
In this paper, dimensional parameters of electromagnets used in the proposed actuation system for magnetic Nanorobotics delivery system are investigated and optimized. This system, composed of three sets of coils, is capable of guiding the nano-particles in 3D inside the blood vessels. Coils parameters such as inner and outer diameter, width, number of the wire turns and wire diameter are numerically studied and their effect on magnetic field and magnetic field gradient are clarified. Based on our experimental setup vision and realistic limitations and using the simulation results, the optimum values for these parameters are chosen. This is a promising setup for using in Nanorobotic targeted drug guiding system and encouraged further investigation.
