  • Abstract
In MANETs, mobility of the nodes is high compared to sensor nodes. Due to that, unlimited path breaks occur unnecessarily. The path stability is not maintained properly, so the network partition will occur. From the analysis of the previous work, it is concentrated on either energy or stability of path. So that performance of network will get degraded. In this work, A Multipath Routing based Energy Efficient Scheme is proposed to obtain the stability of multipath and minimum energy consumption of mobile nodes. In Multipath routing, better network lifetime and more energy efficiency are achieved. The multipath routing stability is calculated to ensure stability between nodes and links. Node spent energy on transmission and reception is kept minimum using the energy consumption model. By using extensive simulation results, the proposed scheme achieves better performance in terms of packet delivery ratio, delay, overhead, network lifetime, energy consumption link availability than the existing method PLSS and LAER schemes.
