Abstract
SECI theory has been described as one of the best known and most influential models in knowledge management literature. Based on the literature review, this paper focuses on the limitations of the theory especially in the context of intra-organizational: Neglect the external knowledge input; Subjective and Static definition of knowledge; Fails to explain the dynamic forces of knowledge conversion; Not reveal the intrinsic link between the knowledge form and knowledge value. Finally, the possible theoretical implications, and future KM research perspectives were indicated.
