Abstract :
In the context of the second law of thermodynamics it is difficult to explain any kind of process contributing to enhance order. Culture can be seen as such an ordering process, but then we have to explain how this is possible. In this paper I introduce an attempt to overcome and combine these contrary views. Based on the theoretical concept of Swenson´s autocatakinesis I explore the possibilities of developing cultural technology beneficial to society.
