Abstract
In this paper, an operator based robust nonlinear vibration control method for an aircraft vertical tail with piezoelectric actuators is proposed. Firstly, experimental devices, the model of the tail and a nonlinear property of hysteresis by Prandtl-Ishlinskii (PI) model are introduced. Secondly, using lower order mode only, the operator based robust nonlinear control design for the tail is designed and the desired performance of tracking is discussed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is confirmed by experimental results.
