Abstract
This paper exploits the problem of inventory control of supply chain. The main contribution of the paper is that production systems of supply chain are modeled as network control systems and the inventory control problem is formulated as a network H∞ control problem. A H∞ controller that stabilizes the production systems and at the same time rejects the external demand fluctuation. It is designed in this paper using H∞ control theory. The sufficient condition is given as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) based on free weighted matrix and Lyapunov stability theory. The numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
