Abstract :
Next-generation sequencing (NGS) greatly promotes the research and development of whole-genome sequencing technology. Genomic sequence assemblers and algorithms dealing with high-throughput short-read data have been the cutting-edge issues in the field. This paper discusses several latest sequence assemblers and their algorithms, and conducts a comparative study of some typical de Bruijn graph-based assemblers by stimulating the sequencing and assembly of zebra fish genome data.
