Abstract :
To deal with the challenge of the storage of mass data, we provide a kind of distributed file system to store the small images which size are under 100KB. For these huge amounts of data, a centralized file system can´t meet the storage requirement. It is necessary to ensure the storage efficiency and fault-tolerant rate. Nowadays, most images which stored on the internet are very small. For these images, an efficient storage system and a management method are also crying needs. Similarly, how to retrieve the image effectively and how to classify the images are also challenges. So we aim at design a proprietary small images storage system based on distributed file system. Meanwhile, we contrast our distribution file system with HDFS and show the effectiveness´s promotion.
