  • Abstract
In this demo, we will present a telepresence capture and browse system which can capture the high quality pictures of the slides of presenter in a workshop and also the 360 degree viewpoint video of the workshop scenario. By providing a web page based browser UI to the remote workshop participant, the demo system can bring the better user experience than the traditional video conference system. The remote users can feels he/she just be there with other workshop participant on-site. The remote participant can see the clear slides presented by the current presenter without install and daemon application in the computer of presenter or get a copy of his slides. Furthermore, the remote participant can look around the workshop room from arbitrary viewpoint, he/she can pay close attention to the current presenter, current speaking person who is asking question and any others he/she is interested. The user study shows that the proposed prototype system can encourage the remote participant to understand and join into the workshop better.
