Abstract :
In this work, the impact that a slot design has on resonant frequencies of a rectangular microstrip antenna (RMA), is presented. An RMA is analyzed up to 6 GHz, accounting for the first three resonances. The computational methodology and the simulation results presented and then verified by measurements on a manufactured model, showing a very good agreement between the results, to give us more confidence in the rest of computationally based results and conclusions.
