Abstract
The UNs projected that half of the world´s population would live in urban areas at the end of 2018. By 2050 it is predicted that 64.1% and 85.9% of the developing and developed world respectively will be urbanized. This incredibly rapid growth of megacities causes severe ecological, economical and social problems. The rapid growth of megacities and vehicles are causing a severe fuel consumption and the greenhouse effect in the intersection. In this paper we present an approach for more fuel-efficient driving with traffic signals to avoid unnecessary acceleration in the intersection. The proposed method is capable of informing economical speed of vehicle between intersections. It is an object of this paper to allow for economical driving by reducing the fuel cost, and minimize environmental pollution by minimizing the exhaust gas of vehicle.
