Abstract
In this paper, an Invasive Weed Optimization (IWO) algorithm has been proposed for designing antennas in broadband matching networks. The broadband matching network over the band 5-30MHz has been specifically designed based on our proposed IWO algorithm. According to the results of the optimization, we use ADS simulation software to analyze the electrical characteristics in the broadband matching networks. Results show that the network has very good broadband impedance characteristics, which demonstrates the effectiveness of our IWO algorithm in the design of broadband matching network.
