Abstract :
This paper investigates the application of virtual and mixed reality techniques for data visualization from automation and maintenance systems of oil and gas industry. The study aims to introduce a theoretical framework for systems integration using mobile devices for mixed/virtual interfaces. Modules implementations of the framework were validated in cases of the oil and gas industry.
