  • Abstract
    Delivering high quality service recommendation while preserving location privacy of mobile users is a challenging issue in mobile commerce. After defining the concept of trusted mobile alliance, a novel scheme on service recommendation for mobile users based on location privacy protection is established, and the process of recommending the vendors based on the mobile alliance is described in detail. To address two key issues in implementing the scheme proposed, two algorithms are presented, one for finding the shortest cloaking cycle based on the weighted road network, another for recommending vendors based on ELECTRE III method. An application example is given to demonstrate the availability of the service recommendation solution in the mobile context and the effectiveness of the vendor recommendation algorithm.
