Abstract
The classical resonator spectroscopy methods have been realized in submillimeter wave range. The resonator spectrometer developed in the IAP of RAS on the base of open Fabry-Perot resonator, excited by radiation of backward wave oscillator, the frequency of which is stabilized by phase locked loop system was successfully used for high accuracy measurements of dielectric properties of solid, liquid and gaseous dielectrics as well as for metals and coatings reflection measurements in the 36-520 GHz range. The absorption spectrum continuous record of the laboratory atmosphere in 350-500 GHz range obtained for the first time by high sensitive microwave method is demonstrated. The broadband measurements of absorption in modern Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapour Deposition Diamonds are presented.
