  • Abstract
A channel estimation method for chipless wireless RF sensors is presented. The method uses two adjacent frequency bands to estimate and suppress the disturbing signal of a dynamic interferer. Afterwards a correction of the sensor tag´s backscatter signal is achieved. The method has been tested in indoor measurements, where a chipless strain sensor and a metal block as interferer have been deployed. Here, the method has enabled a determination of the sensor´s resonance frequency with an error of less than 11% of the tag´s frequency range.
