Abstract
A phase sequence exchange (PSE) topology is proposed for the voltage-mode controlled single input dual output (SIDO) buck converter. The proposed PSE rule determines the energy-charge sequence according to the load conditions for alleviating the cross regulation effect. Therefore, the SIDO buck converter can perform low cross regulation with fixed switching frequency. The controller designed for the PSE technology is implemented by TSMC 0.35μm process. Testing results show that the cross regulation of the PSE-based buck converter is about 0.13mV/mA when load change from 100mA to 300mA.
