Abstract :
This paper presents a low power, UWB down-conversion mixer, implemented in CMOS 0.13 μm technology. This mixer is based on a double balanced Gilbert topology with inter-stage inductance. This mixer shifts an RF (Radio Frequency) signal from 6-8.5 GHz frequency range to IF (Intermediate Frequency) signal over 10-510 MHz frequency range. This down-conversion mixer has 8 dB Conversion Gain, require -1dBm LO (Local Oscillator) power, and consume only 6 mW.
