Abstract
A novel nonlinear compensation technique for RF receiver front-end is proposed. In order to adapt itsself to unkown input signal and interference, the compensator employes a blind identification algorithm that aims at minimizing the out-of-band intermodulation distortion power. To ensure the convergence of blind compensation, a de-embedding technique is developed to reconstruct the polynomial model so that the contribution of the linear component is minimized in the nonlinear function. The proposed technique has low complexity and allows the compensator to operate in real time. The experimental results indicate that the proposed compensation technique can effectively suppress distortion due to receiver front-end nonlinearity.
