Abstract
In this paper, we analyze and discuss some of the challenges regarding safety, security, and privacy involved in developing a vehicle tracking system, zooming on the tracking device. Potential concerns as vehicle and tracking system safety, tampering activity, criminal activity, and unauthorized access to the system are approached and several solutions are presented.
