Abstract
In the paper, the electric field intensity values in near-field area are calculated using FEKO under different situations, and the calculated results are tested and verified by measured results. It is also obtained that the relation of calculated and measured results varying with the distance between measuring point and metal plate, and the distance between main-lobe direction and side-lobe direction. Besides, the both differences are less than 3dB, which meets the demand for practical engineering.
