Abstract :
Achieving the high capacity of MIMO system and improving the MIMO system performances, and determining the quality using the different signal processing algorithms in the MIMO system are greatly depended on the characteristics of the MIMO channel, particularly, the correlation between the antennas. This paper used the random medium wave propagation theory to study the characteristics of signal fluctuation in the rainfall scattering environment, and the effects on the multipath channel because of MIMO channel correlation of satellite-to-ground communications, we also deduced and also deduced the formula for calculating the correlation coefficient both between the receiving antennas and transmitting antennas in the rainfall environments. Then we discussed the correlation coefficient advanced.
