Abstract :
An improper feeding mode of Logarithm periods dipole antenna (LPDA) may result in the asymmetry feeding on the connection pole, which would produce phase delay between the currents on the two arms of dipole, and the main lobe of the pattern would excurse away from the antenna axis. The principle of main lobe excursion and the amelioration methods for LPDA are investigated in this paper.
