Abstract :
Recent work on passive and active circulators for the VHF and UHF bands is described herein. Attention is given to both the optimization problem for enhanced bandwidth or isolation performance and to simulation and measurement data. For example, a passive circulator is described that has 15 dB isolation for frequencies in the 52-79 MHz band. Another passive circulator is described that has over 30 dB of isolation for frequencies in the 260-390 MHz band.
