Abstract
In the LTE systems, the random access channel (PRACH) is an uplink channel of the user terminal for physical layer random access. Base station can estimate timing advanced for terminal by random access signal detection to achieve uplink synchronization of the system. This paper proposes a preamble detection algorithm of low complexity used in LTE systems. And the simulation results show that the algorithm meets the performance requirement mentioned in 3GPP.
