Abstract :
In this paper, we will propose a novel method to estimate the cross channel gain between cognitive transmitter to primary receiver as well as the primary channel gain between primary transceivers, where the cognitive user is acting as a relay to proactively trigger the primary link adaptation. But, this kind of estimator may obtain two possible estimations for each channel, which may confuse the cognitive user. Thus, we will further develop a selection method to pick the estimation with less errors. Simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the estimation performance.
