Abstract :
What is hidden the riverbed? Systems for detecting and researching underwater objects can answer this question. These systems can be used for emergency, rescue and mapping services, harbor engineering, underwater development works like routing, pipe installations, cabling and so on. The system is developed in Polytechnic Institute of the Siberian Federal University. Main parts of the system are equipment of global radio-navigation systems GLONASS (Russian Federation) and GPS (USA), differential ground base station, multibeam sonar “HYDRA”, data processing point.
