Abstract :
This paper describes a supervised approach to the recognition of events from business requirement specification. In unified Modeling Language (UML) based object oriented business modeling, events are key items. Events typically behave as change agents and they also work as information objects by representing a piece of information, since events are important part of Natural Language (NL) Business Requirement specification (BRS); as many events are happening at a time, it is pertinent to identify correct events. An automated approach or event recognition and Annotation can assist a business analyst in building better and complete models. This study can also be incorporated in automated business modeling process.
