Abstract
PSP strongly addresses the need for risk analysis at high level design. However, it does not provide process for risk analysis. Also, many researchers consider architectural analysis essential for software developers. Therefore, Personal Integrated Process was designed to address the need for risk analysis at system level for individual engineer. A case study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of architecture design and evaluation. The impact of architecture design and evaluation on risk identification was determined using the proposed process. The scope of this paper is to highlight results of the case study regarding risk identification and mitigation.
