Abstract :
This paper presents the considerations which have been made in order to integrate a module for energy-efficient driving in the Trainguard MT communications-based train control (CBTC) system. The available information inside the CBTC system allows new ways of designing driver advisory systems and integrating them together with safety-related functions.
