Abstract :
In this paper we discuss a statistical input space mapping method. Our initial surrogate (or mapping) is established through a standard space mapping modeling approach. We enhance the surrogate by including a statistical modeling technique to accommodate response residuals. We employ a simple LC circuit and a microstrip bend to demonstrate our approach.
