Abstract :
In order to implement paperless system in small scale hospital or health service provider in villages or rural area, it is should be provided the mechanism to collect, store and forward the data to the health and medical information system. Beside collect the health and medical data, it is also should be considered that health and medical track could be traced easily, especially for the doctor. No need to recheck the health or medical status if the previous data is still provided and valid. The method for collects those data is using the smart card. To ensure the integrity and validity of data, application protocol data unit is implemented. The application protocol data unit provides the list specific commands for create, update and delete data. All of command is proprietary and not published to avoid the interference to the data. The capability in data storing supported with application protocol data unit, smart card is an alternative paperless solution to manage the health and medical data for small scale hospital or health service provider in villages or rural area. The bigger data storage and transform scenario should be also considered for comprehensive implementation because the limitation space of the smart card.
