Abstract :
In this paper, an agent based intelligent application for executing DSM in distribution systems with large share of renewable sources and responsible end-users is presented. The application maintains two double auction compliant trading process to make the power trading possible among the microgrids. The application allows active end-users with curtailable loads in microgrids to enroll in demand management for which it encourages the customers with priority based incentive mechanism. The customers´ priority is monitored by the dedicated agents based on the number of DR enrollments and benefit gained by the overall system. The concept is actualized using the Java Agent DEvelopment framework. The feasibility and validness of the proposed concept are verified by applying it on a distribution network with two microgrids.
