  • Abstract
The importance of critical infrastructure is seen through the society functional continuity maintenance. In relation to this fact it is necessary to change the perspective from the critical infrastructure protection perspective to critical infrastructure resilience perspective. It is clear that the protection is a functional part of resilience. In connection with our security research project related to resilience evaluation system development, we are able to say that the protection is a component of robustness. Article will therefore discuss about the status and importance of robustness in relation to resilience evaluation and the mathematical approach to robustness definition and evaluation.
