Abstract :
This paper presents different types of power converters based on current fed configurations which could be used to convert and feed DC power generated from photovoltaic cells into the three-phase AC power grid. A comparison among these converters in terms of circuit complexity, converter size and weight, power quality, estimated cost of semiconductors and efficiency is highlighted.
