Abstract :
This paper presents the architecture of a Service Oriented Wireless Platform for Acquisition and Control, called SOWPAC. Although a number of platforms for industrial acquisition and control using wireless networks have been proposed, both in industry and academia, many of these approaches only consider some partial aspects o the problem. This paper proposes a new architecture with open interfaces oriented to facilitate a fast and cost effective deployment.
