Abstract :
Power electronics simulators are useful tools to improve and deepen the knowledge of any specific circuit and, more specifically, complex ones such as resonant circuits. This paper proposes a multi-platform simulator aimed at improve resonant power converter courses. The main features are its simplicity and smooth execution in any system, the capability to operate in any operating system such as the ones in PC/MAC and portable devices running iOS or Android, and its inherent low cost. As a conclusion, a useful tool to improve teaching of resonant converters and motivate students is provided, helping to achieve the aims of the course.
