Abstract :
Cooperative learning activities are suitable to train very important transversal competences, such as empathy, time management, oral expression, transfer knowledge to others, coordination and workgroup, critical reflection and self-assessment, among others. The author proposes to apply cooperative learning to promote positive aspects in emotional intelligence of our students and to reduce the negative aspects, also appropriated in technical areas. In order to do this, a case study is described and an example of alignment of professional skills-cooperative activities-emotional intelligence features is proposed.
