  • Abstract
Multimedia contents are currently widely extended in higher education due to the generalization of consumer goods which allows the access to these contents. Among others, videos are used to support the learning process with clear advantages because it is well known that the combination of the speaking instruction with image usually enhances the learning. With this purpose, many videos have been built in the past. However, these videos often need to be modified in order to update their information, generally requiring large effort. In this paper, it is proposed the substitution of the speaking of a physical person by the synthesized voice generated by a specific purpose program. These programs use the source of information in text format to produce the speaking data which allows modifying the contents by only modifying the text. As a consequence, the video can be easily adapted to new requirements.
