Abstract
Assessment is a crucial aspect of the education process. One of the issues identified in this research is that the slow turnaround time of assessment and feedback to students is a critical factor in the subsequent success rates of the subject. This paper will present the findings and experiences in the development of one assessment tool for ICT education at a South African University of Technology, i.e. Tshwane University of Technology. The development of the tool was done utilizing Living Lab principles. This paper also highlights the methodologies used and suggested for developing products and services as part of a Living Lab.
