Abstract :
In this paper simulation results of Active Harmonic Compensation implemented in a Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Inverter is presented. A short overview of international standards, which concern the connection of distributed generation units to the electrical grid, is presented. Simulation includes fundamental current control and harmonic current control up to 2 kHz. Results are presented by calculating the Total Harmonic Distortion of the inverter output current and current at the Point of Common Coupling depending on the inverter operation modes.
