  • Abstract
    Library plays an important role in the teaching and scientific research of university. This is the core competence of university libraries. In this paper, the denotation of the core competitiveness in university libraries and its effect factors are firstly analyzed. Based on the investigation and analysis, the core competitiveness evaluation index system is established, and Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) is used to determine the weight of evaluation indices, then the paper conducts an empirical study on the library of North China Electric Power University. The empirical Analysis results reveal that the development level of university libraries could be obtained more objectively by introducing fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to the core competitiveness assessment in university libraries and it would be easier for the library to carry out services and management.
