Abstract :
With the rapid development of the modern corporate system, the corporate human resources management pays more attention to the "human factor", which emphasizes improving the quality of staff competency. Competency model is a unique combination of knowledge, skills and characteristics which needed to complete the specific tasks of the organization; it is also the sum of required competency which staff use it to act as a specific task role. At the same time, based on the differences in the competency characteristics between the excellent staff and the general staff, we can provide a standard basis for improving the quality of staff capacity. Tank Company A for an example, summary in the processes and methods of staff competency model and take it as a basis for the competency grading in the whole company, it also provide useful ideas for the enterprise evaluation and staff development mechanism construction.
