  • Abstract
    By using super efficiency DEA and Malmquist index, from panel data on 2006-2009 evaluate the technical efficiency of equipment manufacturing industry in China. On this basis with Tobit regression model on the effect of China´s equipment manufacturing industry in various provinces and municipalities directly under the empirical analysis of factors are influencing technology efficiency. Results show that the industrial scale, reasonable level of configuration and technical equipment of production factors are factors affecting provincial technical efficiency in equipment manufacturing industry significantly. Technical efficiency of equipment manufacturing in China overall is on the rise, but still have larger differences between the various provinces, so equipment manufacturing technology efficiency there is considerable room for improvement. This method for the evaluation of technical efficiency provides a new way of thinking, and provides a quantitative reference basis for management decisions.
