A brief analysis on the construction of urban greenway network in Zhongshan — Based on the perspective of environmental protection

The planning and construction of the urban greenway network in the Pearl River Delta region opens the great practice of the greenway movement in city construction of China. As a unique city of this region, it starts the urban greenway project in Zhongshan City since 2011, and has made great progress. From the perspective of environmental protection, this paper analyzes the definition of urban greenway and its environment value as well as the problem facing in Zhongshan. The propriate suggestions are proposed in order to develop and ensure the environmental value of urban greenway network.
