Abstract :
Rotary press tension control works as a key control section in affecting the quality of printing products. Particularly, it plays a major role to overprint precision. This paper analysed several factors affecting rotary press tension control and difficult problems regarding setting parameters of conventional PID control in tension control. On the basis of fuzzy self-adaptive PID tension control device, the paper attempted to adjust real-time parameters Kp, Ki, and Kd according to deviation and deviation rate. The paper further analysed principles of fuzzy self-adaptive PID control and sectional functions. Then the paper designed a solution to tension control applying fuzzy self-adaptive PID. Practice indicated that fuzzy self-adaptive PID has better control characteristics than conventional PID controller in tension control. Exogenous interference has no effect on the basic tension control way, making paper tension control performance to be fast, accurate and stable.
