Abstract :
This subject is to evaluate DiffServ performance, using simulation methods. This is because it´s difficult to use mathematical models to accurately portray the end of DiffServ QoS features, and to build a complete test environment actually is very difficult, so the use of simulation methods to study is a more feasible approach. Experiments using NS-2 simulator developed by the Lawrence Berkeley nation lab, making the definition of an AF-PHB group implementation mechanism based DiffServ network model on TSW 3CM strategy, and another complete DiffServ network topology model. After simulation, we get analysis about performance and get numerical results. Ultimately get DiffServ IP QoS technology to ensure the advantages and how to use the DiffServ technology to protect important data from lost.
