Abstract :
Security has been a critical issue in e-commerce, where absolute security confidentiality of information exchange is requited. Because of the shortage of traditional database security protection mechanism, an active database intrusion prevention system is proposed to monitor the database application layer activities. The architecture of database intrusion prevention system is designed, including a security control module, intrusion detection module, audit and configuration module as well as alarm module, which could be applied in e-commerce applications.
