Abstract :
The high energy consumption of Cluster-Tree + AODVjr algorithm leads to short lifetime in Zigbee network. To solve this problem, the method of combining neighbor table and energy assessment is used to optimize the RREQ packet forwarding rules, and rotate cluster heads by residual energy, which could achieve the balance among energy balancing, data transmission success rate, and the network lifetime performance index optimization. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm effectively reduce the occurrence of death node, decrease overall network energy consumption and extend the network life cycle.
